What is PGMA?
Pixel Game Maker Awards (PGMA) is a pixel art game development contest for teens and young adults. PGMA is an elimination-style game jam, consisting of four rounds per season.
At the end a round, the PGMA community and judges vote on the games. About half the contestants are eliminated each round, until one winner remains!

You must be age 13-21 to participate.

Join as a team of up to 3 total people, or as a solo dev.

You must have some provable experience with the skills you will be competing with.

Seasons are around 5 months long, with breaks between rounds.

FAQs
Where do I have to make my game?
Your games can be made with whatever program you want! But they must be shared on Scratch, itch.io, Newgrounds, or GameJolt (web playable with HTML). They must be directly playable through either of those websites.
Are there prizes?
Currently, we're not offering a monetary prize, but winners get recognition and future roles:
1st place: Guest judge for up to 2 seasons.
2nd place: Guest judge for 1 season.
3rd place: Guaranteed entry for the next season.
