What is PGMA?

Pixel Game Maker Awards (PGMA) is a pixel art game development contest for teens and young adults. PGMA is an elimination-style game jam, consisting of four rounds per season.

At the end a round, the PGMA community and judges vote on the games. About half the contestants are eliminated each round, until one winner remains!

You must be age 13-21 to participate.

Join as a team of up to 3 total people, or as a solo dev.

You must have some provable experience with the skills you will be competing with.

Seasons are around 5 months long, with breaks between rounds.

How long do I get to make my game?

Each round lasts 2-4 weeks, depending on the stage. This means it's very important not to overscope (we're not expecting the next Hollow Knight).
